Rake-A-Thon Marquam Nature Park
Listed via portland.gov
Join the Forest Park Conservancy to maintain/build safe trails for park visitors at Marquam Nature Park. Come join us in a community effort to rake Marquam Nature Park's trails! When leaves are left on our trails, they hold water, hide tripping hazards, and create mud. Raking leaves off our trails each autumn helps keep them in good shape throughout the winter, as well as keep trail users safer. Volunteers will be hiking to the site and will be working on maintaining the trails in the park. Please dress for the weather, wear closed toed shoes, water and snacks. Tools, gloves, project instruction, snacks, hot drinks and hand warmers provided. There is a portapotty on site.
Please register ahead of time.
Children are welcome. Any child under 14 years of age needs to be accompanied by an attentive adult.
