Project details

Join Portland Parks & Recreation and Marshall Park Neighborhood Association to remove noxious weeds in Marshall Park. The main stem of Tryon Creek flows through the park and supports a healthy population of coastal cutthroat trout. Removing invasively growing species, encourages regeneration of native species, enhances wildlife habitat and prevents erosion and water runoff. This is a great way to get outside and enjoy nature.

Please bring your own water bottle, wear closed toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Instructions, tools, and gloves will be provided. For the safety of staff and other volunteers, please stay home if you are feeling sick.
