Get ready to experience the magic of the season at Camas’ Hometown Holidays, returning to Downtown Camas Friday, Dec. 4, from 5–8 p.m.

This beloved annual tradition brings the community together to celebrate the holidays with festive lights, joyful music, and fun for the whole family. The evening will kick off with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5 p.m., followed by a full lineup of activities including pictures with Santa, cocoa, and entertainment throughout downtown. Imagine the charm of a traditional European winter village — twinkling lights, handmade treasures, the warmth of mulled cider in the air. This year, we’re bringing that vision to life here in Camas, and growing it into something bigger: a true reflection of everyone who calls this community home.

We’re opening vendor applications wide — to artisans, creators, and bakers from every cultural background. Whether your craft carries the spirit of a European Christmas, the winter solstice, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Lunar New Year, or any other winter tradition, this market is a place to bring it forward.

Vendors of every background are welcome here, including BIPGM (Black, Indigenous, People of the Global Majority), immigrant, LGBTQIA+, and disabled creators. Applications open soon — apply and help shape this market experience.
