Join the City of Vancouver’s Urban Forestry Department and Urban Forestry Commission for a morning of planting 25 new street trees. The newly planted trees will help shade pavement, calm traffic, clean the air, and manage stormwater runoff along this neighborhood corridor. Join the fun and make a big impact in two short hours. Dress for the weather and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Gloves, tools and guidance will be provided, as well as light refreshments. This family-friendly event is open to all. Youth under 18 must bring a signed minor consent form.
