SUMMARY:ELF
LOCATION:1203 Commercial St.\, Astoria\, OR\, 97103
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season with a screening of a holiday favorite—an
d help keep our community warm. We’re showing Elf\, the beloved comedy sta
rring Will Ferrell as Buddy\, a human raised at the North Pole who sets of
f for New York City to find his real father. Along the way\, Buddy spreads
cheer in the most unexpected ways\, reminding everyone that 'the best way
to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.' To add to the
fun\, we’re inviting everyone to come dressed in North Pole attire—elves\
 , snowflakes\, candy canes\, or anything festive. Sock-Ball Fight for a Ca
use: Bring a pair (or more!) of new\, clean socks to donate to those in ne
ed. During the iconic snowball fight scene\, you’ll get to join in the fun
with a sock-ball fight of our own—soft\, safe\, and full of holiday spiri
 t. All donated socks will go to local shelters to help keep our community
 warm this winter.
